Discount Golf Equipment and Golf Balls

When you get on the tee and are taking what you think is a powerful golf swing and driving that golf ball down the fairway, a common error that needs correction is the general belief that the harder you hit an object the farther it travels. Well that could not be further from the truth. Swinging hard through a golf bell whether it is on the tee or in the fairway will usually result in a bad shot. Thre are two things that will create this mis hit, the club design and the way the human body behaves. The primary and most important step in driving is to relax your body, realx your grip and to set up like any golf swing you would normally take. Driving the ball does not mean taking a harder than usual swing, it simply means that youe need to use a different club. Driving the ball will require a driver, 3-wood or a long iron, not your putter or wedge. So select the club that works best for you and remember this. For a good drive it is essential that you have a relaxed attitude and make a swing in a relaxed manner. This will help you drive the golf ball to a greater distance and with increased accuracy.

OK, now that you know about relaxing on the tee box, taking that casual yet strong golf swing, there is just one more important thing to consider. Now the only thing left is using the right club. Which club is best for you? Here are a few clubs that are new on the market that you may want to consider.

The Ping G10 has a large titanium head that will produce, at the precise moment of inertia, a larger sweet spot for greater forgiveness and consistency off the tee. This club design eleiminates the need for any muscle to make this shot, no need to grip the club like you are choking an attacking pit bull, no need to get all tensed up. The Ping G10 has a newly designed crown pattern that has discretionary weight distribution inside the head. When using the G10 off the tee, this club will give you a higher trajectory and a lower spin at impact. The Ping G10 comes in loft sizes ranging from 7.5 degrees to 13.5 degrees and both left hand and right hand models.

Callaway Golf has introduced the FT-i which is "fusion technology". This fusion technology golf club was developed by the feedback given to them from tour professionals. Tour professionals were approached and asked if you had your wish to design the ideal club...what would that be? Well the Callaway FT is a result of that feedback. Not only is this is a whole new idea on what a driver should be, it is a product developed by the people that use it most. The Callaway FT, like many of the other clubs does distribute the weight evenly. The design will produce a lower center of gravity, reducing spin and generating a longer, penetrating ball flight. This club is equipped with a carbon body and titanium face gives this club better stability and distance. While the club in 8.5 degree loft is only available in right hand only, the 9.5 degree loft is available in both left and right hand.

Nike golf has come out with the SQ Sumo and they claim this driver to be the straightest and most accurate golf club on the market today. The Nike Sumo has repositioned the weight to the farthest corners of the club face and have optimized the club's head stability. The Sumo club face is designed to maximize the ball speed from any point contact is made. Witha a deeper face, a convex crown and a unique body design, this club will launch the ball with greater speed and accuracy. The Nike SQ Sumo is available in 8.5 degree loft up to 13 degree lofts. The 8.5 and 11.5 degree lofts are only available in right hand, all other lofts have right and left hand. Lofts include: 8.5, 9.5, 10.5, 11.5 and 13

The Titleist 909DCOMP titanium driver is pear shaped composite construction delivering a high launch with low to mid spin. An integrated titanium hosel design saves weight and provides solid feel. The composite crown creates lower spin, higher launch and straighter drives. The Titleist driver comes in 3 different club designs making it a popular choice amongs the casual golf crowd.

Any of these clubs will have your ball in the fairway and at a greater distance only if you remember to relax your grip, not get tensed up and allow the club to do the work. Afterall, whether you are playing with the Nike Sumo, the Callaway FT with the fusion technology, the Ping G10 or the Titleist, allowing the golf club to do the work is eactly what you are paying it for. So view the driver as a club you have hired to bring your golf ball down the fairway and swing with a relaxed rythym.
